Wood is currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals team in #Vancouver, BC or in #Saskatoon SK.
The Role
The Project Engineer will provide engineering support and procurement support on various sized engineering projects. This includes assisting the coordination of the execution of engineering, contracts and procurement, project controls activities for the project as well as home office support for construction activities.

- Competitive salary with regular salary reviews to ensure we are rewarding at the right level in line with the market. The salary range for this position is CAD $115,000 - $152,000 per year. Final salary will be based on relevant and applicable experience, education, and the specific skill set and qualifications required for the role.

Expected
- Registered Professional Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant progressive experience on engineering or EPCM consulting projects.
- Experience with engineering design, engineering progressing, procurement packages development, contract development, scope of work writing, EWP definition, key quantity management, change control, and scheduling/planning.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and able to work with people at all levels
- Must be able to demonstrate effective organizational skills and be able to work independently and effectively in a team environment
- Strong track record of successful project completion and experience in Mining and Mineral projects will be an advantage
- Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
- Formal Project Management training would be considered an asset.
