The Electrode Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting the operation and development of the Quality Management System (QMS) within the Electrode Quality Assurance organization. This role supports quality laboratory activities, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure stable and reliable electrode manufacturing processes. The role involves close collaboration with production, engineering, and quality teams to support quality performance across the organization.

Responsibilities

Engineering Support in the Electrode Quality Assurance Laboratories

• Support cleanliness and contamination control in the Electrode QA laboratory in accordance with 5S3R standards.
• Support the writing, maintenance, and updating of Quality Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support control plan audits and process audits as required.
• Ensure accurate and standardized collection of inspection and test data.
• Support capability studies and Measurement System Analysis (GR&R) activities.
• Assist with laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration tracking, and asset management.
• Support training of operators and engineers on quality standards, inspection methods, and procedural updates.
• Participate in Line Patrol Audits, Process Patrol Audits, Layered Process Audits, and Vision System Audits.
