Manufacturing Assistant (4-Month Summer Term)

Antec Controls is a leader in environmental monitoring and control for critical spaces such as operating rooms, isolation rooms, and laboratories. We create high-performance airflow control solutions to ensure the safety of occupants in environments where advancements to health and wellness are made. Our products include electronic controllers, touchscreen interfaces, sensors, air valves, and other supporting products that enable accurate and precise airflow control. Our controllers are highly configurable, allowing optimization of room and fume hood control.

Position

Manufacturing Assistant (4 Month Summer Term) – Antec Controls

We are looking for a student who is technically inclined, who thrives on new challenges, and who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. Electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering disciplines are all welcome to this position.

The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include

• Support and maintain production processes, equipment, and spaces
• Write and maintain procedures for production processes and production control
• Support manufacturing projects to improve production layout, processes, jigs, systems, and equipment
• Support orders through production

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have

• Enrolled in post-secondary education for Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or Technologist or equivalent
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, with an eye for detail
• A cooperative team player attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• An aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
• A high level of critical thinking and accountability
• Experience with hand tools and wiring is an asset
