The position also aids in corporate engagement, sponsorship development, and legacy giving initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic fundraiser and events professional who enjoys planning campaigns and experiences that motivate giving and build community bonds.

  • Create innovative concepts and engagement experiences that align with InspireHealth’s mission and enhance donor involvement.
  • Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, timelines, sponsorship fulfilment, and volunteer teams.
  • Collaborate across departments with the Communications team on event marketing, storytelling, and post-event reporting.
  • Assess outcomes and return on investment to continually enhance future events.
  • Annual, Monthly & Seasonal Campaigns
  • Lead the planning and implementation of Spring and Winter Campaigns, GivingTuesday, and other organization-wide fundraising initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost the number of members and patients who become monthly donors, and to increase monthly‑giving revenue year over year.
  • Collaborate with Communications to craft donor‑focused appeals and multi‑channel messaging across email, web, and social platforms.
  • Monitor donor data, conversion patterns, and retention metrics to inform data‑driven campaign enhancements.
  • Corporate Engagement & Sponsorship
  • Promote the development and management of relationships with corporate sponsors and partners for events and programs.
  • Develop sponsorship proposals and recognition packages that align the company’s goals with InspireHealth’s mission.
  • Coordinate sponsor deliverables and ensure reports are submitted and acknowledged on time.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers for fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Foster a sense of community among volunteers through regular communication, recognition, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain a well‑organized volunteer database and scheduling system to ensure efficient deployment.
  • Legacy Giving & Donor Stewardship
  • Support InspireHealth’s legacy giving program through donor engagement, educational resources, and follow‑up.
  • Support stewardship tasks such as acknowledgments, impact updates, and personalized communication.
  • Maintain precise records and ensure adherence to CRA standards and ethical fundraising principles.
  • Other Duties
  • Oversee donor receipting, donor acknowledgement & donor data management and analytics through donor management software.
  • Attend team meetings, strategic planning sessions, and inter‑departmental initiatives.
  • Help foster a culture of philanthropy throughout the organization.
  • Carry out other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive fundraising and event management, experience within a non‑profit or healthcare setting.
  • Proven success in running large‑scale fundraising events and multi‑channel giving campaigns.
  • Proven ability to acquire and keep monthly donors.
  • Experience in managing volunteers, sponsors, and community partners.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate sponsorships and donor stewardship practices.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail‑focused, and skilled at managing multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Raiser’s Edge or equivalent), Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing tools.

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Relationship‑builder with initiative and follow‑through.
  • Strategic yet practical; capable of turning ideas into action.
  • Creative problem‑solver with a team‑oriented approach.
  • Strong alignment with InspireHealth’s mission of compassionate cancer care
