Position Summary

We are looking for professional and safety-oriented Class 1 LCV Owner Operator Truck Driver. Operates a large or heavy truck that transports cargo to and from specified locations on time and according to schedule. Role involves adhering to all traffic and safety regulations, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensuring the timely delivery of cargo to its destination.

• Location: Winnipeg, MB
• Start Time: Varies (Overnight Runs)
• Schedule: SUN to THURS
• Areas Serviced: Saskatchewan but will occasionally service northern Ontario with a single trailer.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

What you will do

• Operates vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
• Manages appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods.
• Coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
• Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.
• Ensure customer delivery is met in a timely, safe and professional manner

What You’ll Bring

• Valid Class 1/AZ License is required
• Clean 5 years Commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events)
• Must have minimum 1 yearsof Highway and Winter driving experience
• Must have LCV driving experience
• Must be able to do Hand bombing and operate a Power Pallet jack
• Night driving experience required
• P&D deliveries with attention to productivity and customer service.
• Possess own truck (No older than 6 model years)
• Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Follow company rules and regulations with respect to safety and hours of service
