About the role

The successful incumbent will be required to :

  • Apply and sustain work practices in work area(s) to maintain safe work environment.
  • Support Process Engineers in plant testing activities.
  • Assist in data collection, review, and analysis.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
  • Analyze results from lab testing and recommend improvement actions as appropriate.
  • Support compliance to all applicable industrial, commercial and customer specifications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an accredited Canadian University Engineering Program related to mineral processing (i.e., mining, processing, metallurgy, chemical engineering, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the mineral dressing industry.
  • Strong PC skills, proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong listening and questioning capabilities.
