Job description
Front Desk / Membership Sales Evenings
Golds Gym is hiring a new team sales member with the potential to grow! Are you outgoing enthusiastic and have a passion for fitness We would love to hear from you!

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Time of Work - Must be available 5 days a week
  • Evenings and 1 weekend day required.
  • NO extended time off for travel (more than 4 days) in the first 4 months of employment.
  • Wage $17.85 uncapped commissions.
What we need from you
  • Valid First Aid certification an asset.
  • Service driven with an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Previous sales experience an asset.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English - Ability to speak other languages an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Outlook Excel etc.).
  • Knowledge of cash handling / previous experience with POS terminals.
  • Ability work both alone and in groups.
  • Critical thinking / problem solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet members and guests enthusiastically to encourage a positive culture at the club.
  • Promptly ensure that customer inquiries are resolved professionally and thoroughly via telephone e-mail and in person encounters.
  • Monitor member check-ins / Check-in guests ensuring all policies and processes are followed.
  • Ensure that guests and appointments are directed to the appropriate employee/department in a prompt professional manner..
  • Process point of sale items such as retail and concession sales.
  • Completed sales training to the Golds Gym Standard.
  • Must be motivated to sell memberships greet and assist guests.
  • Preforms 4 hours of community out reach each week.
  • Cold calling emailing and text prospecting required.
  • Basic understanding of gym facilities and fitness an asset.
