GME (Global Manufacturing Engineering) is a cross-functional team having the primary responsibility to plan for and implement the launch of new engine programs at assembly plants and new powertrain and battery cell and assemblies at component plants. The Manufacturing Engineer candidate will be a part of this team and be responsible for the following:

You'll have...

Education: Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required).

Experience:

• 5 + years’ experience in powertrain manufacturing engineering, with specific expertise in cylinder head assembly processes, engine functionality, and the implementation of error-proofing technologies.
• 5+ years’ experience utilizing computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD and Product Lifecycle Management tools including Teamcenter, Global Study Process Allocation System, and Manufacturing Information Database and Analysis System.
• 5+ years' experience managing Manufacturing Quality Operating System requirements, including the development of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Dynamic Control Plans, and the use of the Ariba Purchasing System.

• 3+ years' experience leading the end-to-end design, installation, and commissioning of complex assembly equipment such as robotics, vision systems, and automated conveyors within a high-volume manufacturing facility.

• Maintain high levels of flexibility and resilience within dynamic, fast-paced work environments, demonstrating the capacity to operate effectively under pressure and meet rigorous timing constraints without compromising quality.
• Deliver highly effective verbal and written communications and professional presentations, utilizing refined interpersonal skills to engage diverse teams and present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Function with a high degree of self-reliance and minimal direct supervision while simultaneously excelling in cross-functional collaborations, ensuring seamless integration between independent tasks and broader team-based objectives.
• Navigate the complexities of a manufacturing plant environment by working in tandem with plant leadership to implement new programs and equipment, ensuring successful integration with minimal disruption to ongoing production performance.
• Orchestrate multiple competing priorities and workstreams simultaneously through disciplined time management and organizational skills, complemented by a willingness to travel both domestically and internationally to support global project requirements.

The expected annual salary range for this position is $87000-137000 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.
