We are looking for a full time Warehouse Inventory Associate for our Spartan Industrial Marine brand in our Darthmouth, NS location. Reporting to the warehouse Manager, this role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the warehouse, ensuring organization of the area, inventory and equipment and ensuring the efficient and effective execution of customer sales orders, branch transfers and departmental picking.

Principle Responsibilities
- Ensures Inventory Accuracy by completing detailed cycle counts
- Prepares, packages and schedules out-going shipments with transport companies
- Ships customer orders and branch transfers ensuring all required paperwork is complete and accurate
- Tracks shipments as required
- Answers branch and customer telephone and email inquiries in a professional manner
- Receives, unloads, sorts orders and inter-company transfers accurately and in a timely manner
- Allocates incoming product to designated area as per branch standards
- Applies the Quality Assurance process for all incoming and outgoing goods
- Maintains accurate bin locations for all goods in the warehouse
- Organizes the warehouse including bin locations, product descriptions and labeling product
- Controls warehouse inventory by making inventory adjustments, negative stock, stock counts as required
- Tracks all goods coming into the warehouse with accuracy
- Maintains a clean, safe and organized work environment
- Complies with quality and safety standards
Required knowledge and training
- High school degree or equivalent an asset
- Previous warehouse experience is required
- Previous customer service experience an asset
- Computer skills and ability to use systems for shipping and receiving
- Previous training in forklift operation considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. from floor level to waist level
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
