Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director, the Program Coordinator 2 is responsible for the implementation, coordination, and administration of DTI training programs, with a focus on pre-employment trades, industry certification, and other credential programs. The position involves working with Métis communities, local industries, post-secondary partners, and stakeholders to ensure that community-based initiatives meet local and regional needs. The coordinator will liaise with governmental bodies, accrediting institutions, and community organizations; oversee student recruitment; facilitate accreditation; and manage the day-to-day operations of trades and skills programs. Responsibilities include program budgeting, staff and contract management, work placement/practicum coordination, comprehensive reporting, and other duties assigned by the Director.
Travel will be required throughout Saskatchewan, and a valid driver’s license is required.
Qualifications: The candidate will have a Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Commerce, or a related field; minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program coordination related to trades training; experience working with Indigenous communities and organizations; strong understanding of Métis culture and identity; project management experience with proven ability to deliver community-based programming; familiarity with education and employment programs in Saskatchewan; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other project management tools; strong interpersonal and communication skills; budget and financial oversight experience

Term: July 2, 2026 to June 30, 2027 (possibility of renewal)
