About Supreme International

For more than 75 years, Supreme International has been a leading North American manufacturer of feed mixers for the dairy and livestock industry. Proudly headquartered in Alberta, we design, engineer, and build high-performance equipment that helps producers improve herd nutrition, operational efficiency, and profitability.

As we continue to grow, we're committed to investing in great people, building a strong workplace culture, and delivering exceptional products to our customers across Canada, the United States, and international markets.

Precision. Pride. Built to Last.

We’re not looking for just anyone—we’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Assembler who takes pride in quality workmanship, values precision, and wants to build a long-term career, not just find their next job.

Our team is experienced, hardworking, and committed to doing things right the first time. We’ve built a strong team by hiring people who care about the quality of their work and the people they work alongside, and we’re looking for someone who shares those values. We want someone who is dependable, committed to continuous improvement, and looking for a place where they can grow, contribute, and become a lasting part of our team.

If you enjoy hands-on work, solving assembly challenges, and seeing complex equipment come together through skill and craftsmanship, this is an opportunity to do work you can be proud of while building a career with a company that values quality, teamwork, and long-term success.

About the Role:

As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll play a key role in building high-quality mechanical and hydraulic equipment from the ground up. From interpreting blueprints to installing hydraulic systems and ensuring every component fits precisely, you'll help deliver products that are built safely, built correctly, and built to last.

This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Assembly & Installation

  • Assemble, fit, and install prefabricated mechanical components into subassemblies and finished equipment.
  • Position, align, and adjust components to ensure proper fit, function, and assembly accuracy.
  • Connect hydraulic hoses, tubing, wiring, and mechanical components.
  • Secure assemblies using bolting, riveting, and other fastening methods.
  • Fabricate hydraulic hose assemblies.
  • Mount and install mechanical components according to engineering specifications.
  • Operate small cranes and lifting devices to safely position larger components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

Production & Equipment

  • Meet production schedules while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Use computer systems to issue inventory and manage work orders.

Safety & Teamwork

  • Follow all company safety procedures and safe work practices.
  • Wear required PPE and comply with lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work collaboratively with a skilled production team to complete projects efficiently.
  • Report unsafe conditions immediately and contribute to a culture of safety.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and production processes.
  • Support additional technical or production tasks as required.

What We're Looking For:

We want someone who doesn't simply assemble equipment—we want someone who takes ownership of their work and takes pride in producing a quality product.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical assembly environment preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures.

Assets:

  • Experience with hydraulic systems and hydraulic hose fabrication.
  • Experience mounting tires to wheels.
  • Experience operating overhead cranes or lifting equipment.
  • Manufacturing or heavy equipment assembly experience.

What You Bring to the Team:

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship and wants to be part of a team that values quality over shortcuts.

You'll bring:

  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Pride in producing quality workmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • A commitment to safety in everything you do.
  • A willingness to learn, improve, and help those around you succeed.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Stable full-time employment.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
  • A supportive, team-oriented workplace.
  • The opportunity to build high-quality equipment you'll be proud to put your name behind.

Working Conditions:

  • Industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, noise, heat, fumes, and airborne particles.
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and repetitive movements.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work safely around heavy equipment and overhead lifting devices.
  • Ability to work overtime and rotating shifts (morning and afternoon) as required.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Successful candidates must complete all required pre-employment testing, including:

  • Functional Fit Test
  • Drug & Alcohol Test
  • Audiometric & Hearing Protection Fit Tests
  • Mask Fit Test
  • Must be clean-shaven to comply with respiratory PPE requirements.

Why This Role Matters:

Every piece of equipment we build represents the quality of our company. The work you do directly impacts safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. We believe skilled assembly is more than putting parts together—it's about craftsmanship, precision, and taking pride in building something that lasts.

If you're a mechanically skilled assembler who values quality, works safely, and wants to be part of a high-performing team, we'd like to hear from you.

Apply today and help us build equipment that stands the test of time.
