About Supreme International

For more than 75 years, Supreme International has been a leading North American manufacturer of feed mixers for the dairy and livestock industry. Proudly headquartered in Alberta, we design, engineer, and build high-performance equipment that helps producers improve herd nutrition, operational efficiency, and profitability.

As we continue to grow, we're committed to investing in great people, building a strong workplace culture, and delivering exceptional products to our customers across Canada, the United States, and international markets.

Manufacturing Welder – Quality & Consistency Focused

We’re hiring a skilled welder to support our manufacturing operations.
You’ll work from prints and produce consistent, high-quality welds as part of an established production process.
This is a structured shop environment where teamwork and communication keep things running smoothly.
You’ll be expected to maintain quality standards and complete work efficiently and accurately.
We’re looking for someone dependable who takes pride in doing things right the first time.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Weld and fabricate components using MIG and wire welding processes
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
  • Operate welding and cutting equipment (GMAW, plasma cutter, oxyacetylene torch)
  • Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and consistency
  • Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and workmanship
  • Support continuous improvement and shop efficiency
  • Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe
  • Act as a role model for safety and production best practices

What We’re Looking For

We want someone who doesn’t just weld—but takes ownership of the result.

Required Qualifications

  • Alberta Journeyman Welder certification
  • Minimum 2 years welding experience
  • Strong MIG and wire welding experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Solid understanding of workplace safety, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Physically able to perform hands-on industrial work

Assets

  • Production or manufacturing welding experience
  • Strong fabrication and fit-up skills
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior welders

What You Bring to the Team

  • Pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Team-first attitude with natural leadership qualities
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the floor
  • Commitment to safety and doing things right the first time
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support others

Working Conditions

  • Industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, fumes, and moving equipment
  • Fast-paced shop environment with production targets
  • Use of respiratory protection (must be clean-shaven when required)
  • Overtime and occasional weekend work as required
  • Physically demanding role (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, crouching, climbing)

This is a safety-sensitive position. Successful candidates must pass required pre-employment testing, including functional fitness, mask fit, audiometric testing, and drug/alcohol screening.

Shift Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Overtime and weekends as required by production needs

Why Join Supreme?

At Supreme, we don’t just build equipment—we build a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. You’ll be part of a team that values craftsmanship, respects skill, and supports each other in doing great work.

Ready to Weld the Future With Us?

If you’re a welder who takes pride in your work, shows up ready to perform, and wants to be part of a strong, high-performing team—we want to hear from you.

Apply today and take your place in a production-driven shop.
