This is an excellent opportunity to join a global power transmission and automation solutions leader. This role is responsible for the $5m Northern Alberta region, selling to the mining, material handling, aggregates, cranes, hoisting, forestry, and cement industries.

Your role will include a mix of business development and account management, using strong communication skills to deliver year-on-year growth.

They have a strong technical team that will assist you with all things engineering, with your role focusing on customer relationships, service, and sales.

Other responsibilities :

  • Performing the selection and sizing of power transmission systems based on customer specifications and needs.
  • Interacting with both national and international manufacturing plants on sales activities and technical issues
  • Working closely with the local technical, engineering, and service teams to ensure long-term customer satisfaction
  • Working with partners and the local sales team to help close deals

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of sales experience.
  • Ideally - Experience in the power transmission industry (electric motors, gear units, gear motors, reducers, couplings, base plates, etc.

motion control, or the industrial automation industry.

Located in the Edmonton area. The role is fully home-based.

Salary : $80K - $95K + bonus + car + benefits.
