The successful candidate could move into a carpentry apprentice role after several years of experience. Benefits Competitive wages Employer-paid health, dental and vision benefits for you and your family Life insurance Travel insurance RRSP matching up to 4% of regular earnings Year-round, full-time work Opportunities for advancement - wage increases and promotions regularly extended to those who take initiative, work hard and take pride in producing quality work Duties / Responsibilities Assist tower crane and hoist technicians with any duties they need help with Demo worksites and prepare them for new concrete pour or placemen Inventory counting and management Unloading and loading materials Cleanup and organization Degrease cranes and skips Perform maintenance Operate skid steer Working Conditions Monday to Friday Overtime and work on weekends as required.

Long term, steady, year-round work One paid 15 minute break and one ½ hour unpaid lunch break per day Combination of inside and outside work.

Appropriate dress required. Competencies Ability to work well in a team and independently Positive attitude towards safety Punctual and reliable Self-motivated Willing to learn Manual dexterity, mechanically inclined, physically fit Requirements WHMIS required CSTS or SCOT required Steel toe boots required Experience with concrete form setting or construction is required Reliable transportation Exposure to cold / hot weather.

Appropriate dress required for weather conditions. Exposure to noise, dust, pollution Exposure to hazards such as heights, power tools, slips, falls, falling objects, sharp hand tools Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time Manual dexterity Ability to lift between 11 and 25 kg.
