About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who will own the AWS infrastructure and drive reliability, security, and observability across the platform. You’ll work cross‑functionally with engineering, data, testing, and security teams to streamline deployments, enforce compliance, and respond to critical incidents.
What You’ll Do
- Own and scale ZayZoon’s AWS infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance and security.
- Design and automate infrastructure provisioning using CloudFormation and build CI / CD pipelines.
- Optimize PostgreSQL databases for high availability and performance.
- Improve monitoring and observability, ensuring proactive issue detection.
- Design secure, scalable AWS services compliant with SOC‑2 and cybersecurity requirements.
- Evaluate and remediate critical and high CVEs across services on short notice.
- Work cross‑functionally with development, data, testing and security teams to improve deployment processes.
- Apply DevOps best practices across everything you do.
You Bring
5+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering in AWS or GCP.3+ years of programming in Python or a high‑level language such as Go or Ruby.Knowledge of Bash and SQL.Experience with CloudFormation or other IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible or Chef.Experience with CloudWatch, ECS on Fargate, CodePipeline and native deployments.Experience building efficient CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or an equivalent.Deep familiarity with CloudWatch, CloudTrail and other logging tools such as Athena.Experience migrating compute from Intel to ARM.Why You’ll Love Working At ZayZoon
