Warehouse Technician

Job Summary

Responsible for accurate and timely fulfillment of client orders, including gathering, assembling, and verifying supplies for shipment or delivery, while supporting inventory control, quality assurance, and general warehouse operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Gathers supplies for orders in preparation for shipment / delivery and performs quality checks.
• Assembles, labels, and provides supplies as required.
• Participates in quality assurance activities as directed.
• Uses inventory management systems to pick inventory.
• Ensures inventory is maintained on the shelf for packing customer orders and shelves are properly labelled.
• Performs general housekeeping duties in the department on a daily basis.
• Files documents appropriately.
• Verifies information on packing slip to ensure that the correct product is being sent to the correct recipients.
• Maintains freezer packs in sufficient quantity and quality to ensure temperature-controlled shipping.
• Participates in ongoing training required due to revision of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Participates in Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance activities, education programs, and department / branch meetings.
• Nice to have forklift experience.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
