What You'll Do

  • Spearhead the design and execution of SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange Online projects, ensuring they align with client requirements for document management and collaboration.
  • Conduct comprehensive readiness evaluations in client settings to ascertain necessary preparations for successful project implementations.
  • Offer tailored training and guidance on Microsoft Modern Work technologies, adhering to both Microsoft and internal best practices.
  • Act as the technical lead, overseeing projects from initial assessment through planning, implementation, and final handover.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to maintain accurate project schedules, communicate updates, and manage potential roadblocks effectively.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Microsoft modern workplace technologies and core on-premises / hybrid services like Active Directory and Azure AD Connect.
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively, ensuring diligent follow-through and adherence to organizational standards for documentation and compliance.
  • Continuously enhance your technical expertise through learning and certifications, contributing to the team’s overall knowledge and capabilities.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in IT ecosystems, with a proven track record of directly managing and implementing technology solutions that drive business performance.
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID, and Exchange Online, capable of leading projects from planning through execution.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and using Microsoft Graph for automating and enhancing system functionalities.
  • Demonstrable experience with migration projects, specifically using SharePoint and OneDrive, and adept at utilizing third-party tools to ensure smooth transitions and integrations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with SAML-based federation for cloud applications, enabling secure and seamless integration across diverse IT environments.
  • Advanced understanding of Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID synchronization mechanisms to enhance identity management and security protocols.
  • Experience with Microsoft Conditional Access policies, ensuring robust security measures and access control within client environments.
  • Previous involvement in Teams Voice implementations, new setups, or number porting, contributing to comprehensive communication solutions.
  • Practical knowledge in the deployment and troubleshooting of Azure Virtual Desktop and Remote Desktop Services, offering scalable virtualization solutions to clients.

  • You will often face high-stakes technical issues that require immediate resolution, which can be stressful and demanding, especially when critical systems are affected.
  • Balancing multiple client demands and managing expectations can be challenging, particularly when project scopes or goals shift unexpectedly.
