Overview
As the Tender Manager you will be supporting all activities around the tender management process and putting together bid packages in a timely and professional manner in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the Request for Proposal process and all related documents.
- Structure and assemble the proposal / bid documents in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Plan tender milestones and monitor deadlines.
- Perform risk analyses and drive the internal approval process prior to bid submission.
- Review tender Terms and Conditions and obtain clarifications and exceptions as needed in consult with legal / risk management.
- Provide oversight and compile all documents required to complete the bid package.
- Control quality and accuracy of the bid and ensure optimal solution is submitted.
- Develop an effective network across all business units and functions.
- Participate in Quality Management System (QMS) and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) programs.
- Use required processes and procedures to execute work.
- Report any safety and QMS nonconformities to supervisor, Quality Manager or HSE Coordinator.
Qualifications
University degree in engineering or equivalent.5+ years of proven tender management experience in the electrical industry; experience with large integrated project bids is an asset.Contract management and risk assessment experience.PMP certification (preferred).Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and communication abilities.Ability to lead and direct tender teams.Action‑oriented, proactive in prioritizing own workload and able to work effectively with minimal direction.Compensation and benefits
The compensation range for this full‑time position, including base pay and short‑term incentive, is $114,750–$162,000 for Ontario residents. Benefits include flexible work arrangements, paid family leave, pension matching, well‑being programs, holidays & paid time off, and more.
