Financial Analyst

Horizon Recruitment Inc. supporting a growing organization in their search for a Financial Analyst to join their corporate finance team. This is a great opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys digging into data, building reports, and contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. You’ll work cross-functionally with key stakeholders and gain exposure to a broad range of financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and internal reporting packages
• Analyze financial performance and prepare variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, including updating rolling forecasts
• Conduct financial modeling and profitability analysis for business initiatives
• Assist in preparing audit working papers and documentation for year-end
• Support internal reporting needs with custom dashboards and financial reports
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Respond to ad hoc financial requests from senior leadership
• Identify trends and areas for financial improvement through analysis
• Assist with continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of financial analysis or public practice experience
• CPA designation or recently passed CFE Exam
• Strong Excel skills; experience with financial systems like NetSuite, Great Plains, or Concur preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, analytical mindset
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Rewards:

• $80-90k
