Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Vancouver. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong full-cycle accounting experience who is comfortable working in a bilingual (English and Mandarin) business environment. Mandarin language skills are considered a strong asset, as the role involves communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and business partners. This position requires close collaboration with senior management and shareholders , and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be proactive, well-organized, and detail-oriented , with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Record and review journal entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card accounts
• Maintain and update the general ledger
• Collect, verify, and organize financial data and supporting documents
• Prepare financial statements and accounting reports, ensuring accuracy
• Ensure all accounting records comply with Canadian accounting standards and legal requirements
