Join us as a Network Engineer III , where you will play a key role in leading, designing, and evolving large-scale enterprise network infrastructure across corporate, retail, and data center environments. This role blends advanced technical expertise, project leadership, and cross-team collaboration.
You will act as a technical authority, helping guide architectural decisions, improve operational maturity, and support multi-year modernization initiatives as well as supporting our customers operationally. You’ll influence standards, tooling direction, and best practices while empowering the broader team.
What You’ll Be Working On
Network Operations & Technical Leadership
- Provide senior-level support for daily network operations, including firewalls, security rules, routing, switching, and complex connectivity issues
- Serve as a technical escalation point for high-impact or complex incidents, as well as leading root cause analysis and driving long-term fixes
- Guide junior and mid-level engineers through troubleshooting, design reviews, and operational best practices
- Support our Azure cloud networking environment
- Partner closely with Incident, and Change Management teams to improve stability and operational processes,
Strategy & Design
Lead or influence network design decisions for corporate, retail, cloud, and data center environmentsContribute to the long-term network roadmap, including lifecycle planning, scalability, resiliency, and technology selectionAct as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders and product teams during planning and execution of initiativesReview and approve technical designs, standards, and implementation approachesInfrastructure Projects & Delivery
Provide technical leadership for major infrastructure projects including retail and datacenter upgrades, Wi-Fi modernization, DNS refresh, and hardware migrations.Support stakeholder-driven initiatives and modernization effortsCoordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful project deliveryMonitoring, Observability & Operational Maturity
Support improvements to network monitoring, observability, and alerting strategies to support proactive issue detectionUse insights from monitoring tools to proactively identify risks, trends, and optimization opportunitiesEnsure monitoring tools are effectively used to support operational decision-makingSecurity & Compliance
Ensure security standards are followed across network platformsLead planning and execution of network OS upgrades, patches, and compliance initiativesPartner with security teams to address vulnerabilities and risk remediationAutomation & Process Improvement
Support the team evolution toward more efficient and automated workflowsIdentify opportunities where automation can improve operational consistency, efficiency and reliabilityReview, guide, and support automation approaches created by larger teamWhat We’re Looking For
Experience & Expertise
5+ years supporting large-scale enterprise network environments5+ years working with firewall and security technologies (e.g., IPSEC, GRE, UTM, IDS / IPS)4+ years with routing and switching technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VPC, VSS, STP, MPLS, Load Balancing)5+ years experience with products including Azure, Fortinet, Juniper Cisco, F5, and Infoblox4+ years experience with Automation tools including Python, Ansible, or GitHub3+ year experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds and(or) DynatraceLeadership & Growth Mindset
Demonstrated ability to lead technically, influence decisions, and mentor othersComfortable owning outcomes, not just tasksStrong communication skills with the ability to lead discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholdersAnnualized Compensation Range
$102,000.00 - $107,000.00
This job is eligible for a company performance bonus in addition to the compensation range above.
