Our client is dynamic, constantly growing and evolving is currently looking for a Financial Controller to join their team in the Montreal area.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the complete accounting cycle
  • Prepare and execute month-end and quarter-end processes
  • Actively participate in the preparation and analysis of financial results and balance sheets
  • Prepare financial statements. Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts and ensure their follow-up
  • Ensure the reliability and completeness of the financial information produced
  • Establish and interpret the relationship between financial results and operational performance in order to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure the analysis of operational and financial performance indicators in order to contribute to the decision-making process
  • Support management in the application and monitoring of operational processes (including the budget process, analysis and dissemination of internal and external financial information)
  • Implement best practices in financial, commercial, administrative and accounting management applicable to his / her unit

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CPA designation preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in accounting
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
  • Proficiency in SAP / GP and ERPs is preferred
  • Bilingual in English and French with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to operate at a strategic level
  • Proven professional integrity
  • Proven experience in recruiting, managing and supervising high-level staff

Notre client est une entreprise dynamique, en croissance et en évolution constante, qui est actuellement à la recherche d’un contrôleur financier ou contrôleuse financière pour se joindre à son équipe dans la région de Montréal.

Les responsabilités sont les suivantes :

  • Gérer le cycle comptable complet
  • Préparer et exécuter les processus de fin de mois et de fin de trimestre
  • Participer activement à la préparation et à l’analyse des résultats financiers et des bilans
  • Préparer les états financiers. Contribuer à l’élaboration des budgets et des prévisions et en assurer le suivi
  • Veiller à la fiabilité et à l’exhaustivité des informations financières produites
  • Établir et interpréter la relation entre les résultats financiers et la performance opérationnelle afin d’identifier les opportunités d’amélioration
  • Assurer l’analyse des indicateurs de performance opérationnelle et financière afin de contribuer au processus de prise de décision
  • Soutenir la direction dans l’application et le suivi des processus opérationnels (y compris le processus budgétaire, l’analyse et la diffusion des informations financières internes et externes)
  • mettre en œuvre les meilleures pratiques en matière de gestion financière, commerciale, administrative et comptable applicables à son unité

Qualifications :

  • Baccalauréat en comptabilité, en finance ou dans un domaine connexe
  • Titre d’expert-comptable de préférence
  • 5+ années d’expérience en comptabilité
  • Expérience confirmée en tant que contrôleur financier ou dans un rôle similaire
  • Maîtrise de SAP / GP et des ERP de préférence
  • Bilingue en anglais et en français avec de solides compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles
  • Solide connaissance des principes et pratiques comptables
  • Excellentes capacités d’analyse et souci du détail
  • Capacité à travailler de manière indépendante et à respecter les délais
  • Grande attention aux détails avec la capacité d’opérer à un niveau stratégique
  • Intégrité professionnelle avérée
  • Expérience avérée du recrutement, de la gestion et de la supervision de personnel de haut niveau
