Sourcing Specialist

Overview

Salary : 24-32 per hour, 30-35 hours per week

Nova Graphene is a leader in advanced material innovation, developing graphene-enhanced solutions for industrial and commercial applications. We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to strengthen our international supply chain by procuring critical raw materials, specialized equipment, and business services to support our R&D and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Purchase general and specialized equipment, raw materials, and business services required for Nova Graphene’s operations and further processing.
• Assess company requirements and collaborate with internal teams to develop detailed specifications for materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Invite tenders, consult with suppliers, review quotations, and recommend contract awards.
• Negotiate and establish contract terms and conditions with domestic and international suppliers.
• Oversee delivery logistics, develop schedules, track shipments, and resolve any supplier or client issues.
• Monitor supplier performance, review claims, and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and timeline expectations.
• Prepare and review procurement reports, contribute to strategic sourcing plans, and adjust purchasing budgets as needed.
• Manage supplier relationships and maintain long-term partnerships for cost-effective and reliable supply.
• May supervise and train purchasing assistants or clerks as the team expands.
