MatchBox Consulting is excited to partner with one of Greater Vancouver's most well-known developer-builders in search for an Assistant Superintendent to join their growing team.

With decades of success developing and constructing luxuriously crafted residential high rise, multi-family and single-family homes, our client offers a long pipeline of high-end developments across the Lower Mainland.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the selection of consultant team and coordinate of activities throughout the development process.
  • Request and review RFP’s, manage consultants, review designs and manage consultant schedules
  • Preparation, submission and monitoring of rezoning, subdivision, development and building permit applications to ensure timely approval.
  • Expedite the resolution of all development permit issues which arise to maintain project schedules and the level of quality of each project.
  • Review comments on development approvals, strategize on the most cost effective and least disruptive approach to advance approvals.
  • Review progress drawings from all consultants and provide feedback as required.
  • Effectively negotiate land / zoning approvals with local approving authorities and possibly neighboring owners.
  • Review all site plans and identify any potential conflicts with on and off-site infrastructure, grades, trees and compliance with municipal engineering design requirements.
  • Complete development projects on time and on budget. Skills & Requirements :
  • Must have 3+ years of High-Residential work experience
  • Experience seeing a project from start to finish
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites of products, knowledge of Timberline, Procore, and MS project.
  • Strong understanding of municipal governance structures, as well as where provincial and federal authorities can impact development
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
