The Digital Technical Lead (DTL) is responsible for the end-to-end technical ownership of PSI’s digital platforms, with a primary focus on the Magento B2B website , which represents the majority of company revenue.
This role serves as the bridge between business, marketing, and technology , translating growth and customer experience requirements into secure, stable, and scalable technical solutions . The Digital Technical Lead ensures that digital initiatives are delivered efficiently while maintaining platform reliability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Ownership & Technical Leadership
- Own the technical health of PSI’s digital platforms (i.e. Magento B2B, Shopify B2B / B2C, Hubspot, Klaviyo, Celigo, Netsuite integration)
- Ensure platform stability, uptime, scalability, and performance
- Lead technical decision-making for platform enhancements and integrations
- Maintain and evolve platform architecture aligned with business needs
Delivery & Execution
Translate business, marketing, and UX requirements into technical designs, identifying risks, gaps, and pitfalls early in the assessment stageCoordinate internal developers, external agencies, and vendors while evaluating their best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costsLead feature delivery from concept through deploymentHands-on development within agency frameworks to ensure alignment, transparency, and shared ownershipQuality control new features and bug fixes by conducting QA scenarios and performing stress testsOwn technical backlog, sprint planning, andli>

Required
7+ years of experience in web or digital platform engineeringStrong development experience with Magento (Adobe Commerce) in a B2B contextStrong development experience with Shopify Advance, Plus, Headless in B2B & B2C contextsExperience with code management best practices using Git / GitHub and ComposerExperience leading technical delivery for revenue-critical platformsSolid understanding of web security, performance, and scalabilityExperience working with external vendors and agenciesExperience with agile sprint planning and use of project management tools like JiraAbility to translate business needs into technical solutionsAdobe Commerce and Shopify Certifications are assetsPreferred
