JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Distinguish between types of material - Properly mix or sort by colour or other propertiesLoad and unload raw material bins / hoppers (i.e. maintain raw material levels to ensure line operation)Report any deficiencies in systems, facilities, machinery, equipment and / or tools immediately to your supervisor.Record and / or report product or equipment damage / nonconformities to your supervisor as required.Comply with Safety and Quality Assurance policies and procedures.Participate and contribute to production efficiency.Construct packaging, prepare and apply label to package, package product as per specificationKeep work area clean, dispose of recycling and waste in proper binsParticipate in the PVC Recovery program, ensure recycling of scrap and other materialsPlace raw material in proper storage locationPlace finished goods in proper storage locationInspect product for squareness / straightness / proper surface finishCompare product to sample (colour)Record results on paper or electronic formatUse caliper / micrometer / measuring tape or other tools to ensure product meets specificationsCompare product to production drawingsPerform “Go” “No-go” Gauges / Assembly Parts testsCheck guarding, oi / water levels, check / change filtersMaintain the machine during a “blip”Maintain the machine during “more than a blip”SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :
