Metallurgical Lab Technologist

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Can execute various metallurgical lab functions with minimal or no supervision.
• Perform tensile and hardness testing on tubular samples to support QC and production.
• Prepare and review Material Test Reports against customer requirements for product shipments.
• Prepare samples and conduct metallographic analysis.
• Setup, perform, and report results from corrosion tests.
• Validate and review calibration status of testing machines.
• Maintain and support Lab 5S initiative.
• Conduct metallurgical studies on stainless steel tube and write technical reports.
• Perform failure analysis and recommend further action to correct the problem.

The expected compensation range for this position is $61,510 - $79,322. This range includes base pay and target variable pay. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We also consider internal equity to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. This range reflects the expected full compensation range for the role; most offers will fall within the range and not at the maximum in order to allow for future growth.
