SUMMARY
The MAC Officer is responsible of planning and delivering facility moves, add change projects as well as facility planning projects.
Will Manages and executes move management services on assigned projects utilizing and provide superior client service. Project may be larger, more complex and vary in scope.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all MAC activities
- Proactively manage project-related issues on account or assignment.
- Ensure best practices and policies are being followed
- Receive and process client move requests
- Participates in planning meetings hosted by the client, Occupancy Planning and other key stakeholders.
- Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk
- Maintains effective relationships with vendors. Monitors work progress to ensure completion.
- Maintains effective relationships with clients, vendors, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in assembling / disassembling furniture systems preferred.
- Experience in basic furniture repairs, assembly (ex. Arm / caster / pneumatic cylinder replacements on chairs)
- Ability to safely move up to 75 lbs.
- Operate a fork lift
- Ability to communicate in English and French in both speech and writing.
- Ability to carry out goals and instructions and to follow through on assignments
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, and walk frequently
- Demonstrate a customer focus
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to influence others to ensure timely and quality completion of projects
- Computer proficiency in MS Office applications with ability to quickly learn new applications
- Top secret level 3 required
- Possibly work nights / weekends
