Job Description

Our client in the Healthcare Industry is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis for a contract starting ASAP until September 2024.

This role will be 1 day a week onsite in Hamilton, and the rest of the week working remotely.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Review and validate accounts payable transaction
  • Conduct account reconciliations and address vendor inquiries
  • Process payment transactions accurately
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Maintain precise financial documentation
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and record keeping
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and vendors

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting preferred
  • At least two years of relevant accounting experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in accounts payable tasks
  • Competency in Meditech (optional), MS Office Suite, and Adobe
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Preference for candidates with hospital / healthcare experience
