Reporting to the Director, Public Relations and Digital Media, the Manager, Digital Media, is responsible for the development, execution and measurement of robust digital media strategies and marketing campaigns in support of Osler's priorities.
The manager will lead a small team to create compelling stories, manage online brand reputation and develop digital marketing plans to position Osler as an innovative, compassionate, and inclusive organization.
Osler's Strategic Communications Department is viewed as a critical enabler of the organization's priorities and the Manager, Digital Media, is a key member of this dynamic team.
The ultimate brand champion, the Manager, Digital Media, will leverage their knowledge and experience to grow and engage target audiences and drive advocacy and influence through social media.
The successful candidate is a leader that straddles the line between strategy and execution, has a passion for emerging digital and social media trends, and can effectively conceptualize, plan, implement and measure digital projects.
They will also providing coaching, feedback and opportunities for career development for Osler's digital team.
Accountabilities :
- Provide strong leadership and strategic oversight of Osler's digital media assets (website, intranet, email marketing and social media channels) to support and advance Osler's new plan, targeted advocacy and influencer agenda
- Develop and manage the online presence for Osler's executive leadership social media accounts in alignment with strategic priorities and position Osler and its executives as thought leaders
- Ensure alignment of digital footprint and thoughtful partnership across both Osler and Osler Foundation
- Drive greater brand awareness for the organization through paid social media advertising and other marketing strategies
- Support the planning of editorial content and define key performance indicators in alignment with digital media goals, which include helping to strengthen Osler's brand and reputation and galvanize support for Osler's strategic imperatives
- Keep abreast of issues, emerging trends and themes within the health care sector and community, and develop strategies and tactics around how they can be addressed via social media
- Support monitoring and review as well as the development of responses to community questions and concerns via social media in a timely manner to promote positive engagement and interaction
- Help to conceptualize, curate and develop content for social media platforms to educate diverse audiences about Osler and its people, and raise awareness around hospital programs and services
- Enforce Osler's social media guidelines and policies among Osler staff, physicians and volunteers
- Coach and mentor direct reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, multi-media, communications or a related field with relevant experience
- 5 years or more of digital media experience in a business, public sector or non-profit setting
- Proven working experience in digital marketing preferably in a health care environment
- Strong project management experience
- Proven experience working in digital media, with a strong understanding of website technology, social media and email marketing
- Proficiency in social measurement tools (e.g., Hootsuite, native social analytics), with proven experience accurately reporting and analyzing metrics to inform decision-making and guide strategy
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences, and developing and optimizing social media channels to engage, inform, influence and motivate
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement
- Expertise in social media ad buying to maximize digital marketing effectiveness
- Excellent written communication skills with superior storytelling abilities
- Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to motivate, engage and lead a team
- Demonstrated high-level of customer service and interpersonal skills needed, including ability to work with diverse individuals and groups (i.
e. front-line staff, physicians, volunteers, Foundation)
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to travel between all Osler sites as required (vehicle is necessary)

Hours : Monday to Friday (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
This role is Hybrid. Roles that function remotely, but require essential, regular onsite weekly work.
Annual salary :
Minimum : $104,227.50
Maximum : $130,279.50
