Summer Student (Instrumentation or Electrical) - Control Panel Technician - (4 months)

Summary

We are recruiting for first year Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering Technology Summer Students to work in a Control Panel Technician (Control Panel assembly) role on our Solutions Manufacturing team, in Calgary. Reporting to the Manager, Solutions Centre, you will assist with the assembly of custom-built Control Panels.

Term : Summer 2026 (May – August)

Role and Responsibilities

Produce customized control panels in accordance with customer blueprints / drawings (training provided) :

• Mount and wire electrical components
• Install pneumatic devices complete with SST tubing
• Panel layout and installation
• Red-line fabrication drawings
• Perform quality work in compliance with CSA Standards
