Requirements

Responsibilities :

• Test Automation Development : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our Federated Data Sharing Appliance.
• Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) : Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines to automate the testing, deployment, and monitoring of software releases in containerized environments.
• Test Planning and Execution : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, create test plans, and execute test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Quality Assurance Processes : Establish and enforce QA best practices, standards, and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities.
• Defect Management : Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using issue tracking systems, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Performance Testing : Conduct performance and scalability testing to assess the system's behavior under various loads and optimize performance.
• Security Testing : Perform security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential security risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation, including test plans, test cases, test reports, and automation scripts, to support QA processes and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Linux-based systems and containerized environments.
• Strong proficiency in programming / scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with one or more automation frameworks / tools such as Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI / CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
