Taps Public House is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to fresh ingredients and exceptional flavors.

Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and chop ingredients, including vegetables, meats, and herbs, according to our recipes and chef’s specifications.
- Assist in cooking and assembling dishes as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Properly store and label food items, ensuring freshness and compliance with food safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies efficiently.
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in every dish.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth service.
- Participate in routine kitchen cleaning tasks and maintain a safe working environment.
- Stay updated on menu changes and assist in new dish preparation as required.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality food.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
