We are looking for two co-op students to join our Integration, Reliability and Emergency Management (IREM) - Reliability and Analytics group in Toronto and Barrie. Our group is responsible for :
- Carry out periodic and ad hoc performance measurement, analysis and reporting related to the Hydro One Networks business
- Provide timely validation of distribution power outage records for all downstream reporting and analyses
- Perform transmission equipment, delivery point reliability data collection and assessments
- Perform distribution reliability performance analysis
- Perform Asset Analytics related analysis, data maintenance
- Perform reliability and risk assessment studies to identify risk in transmission and / or distribution system reliability
- Prepare transmission and distribution business performance evidence document for the OEB rate filing
- Provide support to Tx and Dx asset management department for asset investment planning to improve transmission and distribution system reliability performance
- Provide the support to the customer relationship for customer reliability performance evaluation and assessment
- Provide the support to the transmission and distribution planning department to identify existing transmission and distribution system performance issues for improvement
- Participate in benchmarking studies to identify the potential to improve the transmission and distribution system reliability performance
Your job duties may include :
Support analysis and reporting on the transmission and / or distribution system performance metricsSupport detailed analyses, studies and development undertaken by the departmentSupport ad hoc urgent customer outage inquiry investigations as neededSupport regulatory / market Compliance reporting analysis for the OEB, NPCC / NERC and IESOSupport performing benchmarking studies (data collection, analysis and presentation, internal and external)Maintain performance information databases and associated processesSupport projects and key initiatives undertaken by the departmentSupport the development of performance analysis and reporting processes, tools and systemsSupport change control of existing processes and tools for Master Data Management and Transactional informationAssist in the enhancement or troubleshooting of existing applications that allow users to update, view or report on enterprise informationThis job will provide you with the following professional development :
