Instrumentation and Control Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Foxboro Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our clients team on a 7 / 7 rotational shift with fly in and fly out out of Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining Foxboro distributed control systems (DCS) and instrumentation systems in compliance with Canadian regulations to optimize the efficiency and reliability of our clients industrial processes.

Responsibilities

• Designing, configuring, and programming Foxboro distributed control systems (DCS) to meet project requirements while adhering to Canadian regulatory standards.
• Developing and implementing control strategies to improve process efficiency, reliability, and safety in alignment with Canadian regulations.
• Conducting system integration, testing, and commissioning activities for Foxboro DCS and instrumentation systems in compliance with Canadian codes and standards.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Foxboro DCS and instrumentation while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including process engineers, project managers, and technicians to ensure successful project execution while adhering to Canadian regulations.
• Providing technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel, emphasizing compliance with Canadian regulatory requirements.
• Staying updated on industry trends and Canadian regulatory changes related to Foxboro DCS and instrumentation technology.
