Job descriptionExperience acting as a technical lead for digital products or SaaS platforms. Experience reviewing application code and front-end architectures (React preferred). Experience working with vendors and outsourced development teams. Experience supporting CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Lead architecture of secure, scalable SaaS solutions including OpenText, ServiceNow and other enterprise applications. Define integration patterns across SaaS, legacy systems, cloud, and enterprise data platforms. Translate business needs into modular solution designs. Produce architecture artifacts including reference models and data flows. SupplyOntario.ca VOR Access & Vendor Reporting Account and User Management Future digital services Provide technical leadership for the DxP architecture and codebase. Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure quality, security, and maintainability. Define coding standards, architectural patterns, and development best practices. Guide implementation of the Supply Ontario Design System in React applications. Ensure consistency across front-end and full-stack implementations. Provide technical oversight of vendor delivery teams. Support DevOps practices, CI / CD pipelines, and release governance. Act as the bridge between Enterprise Architecture and delivery teams. Establish governance and configuration standards for SaaS platforms. Ensure alignment with OPS directives, privacy, and data policies. Support business cases, procurements, and vendor evaluations. Contribute to enterprise architecture roadmaps. Lead discovery and architecture workshops. Translate complex technical concepts for executives and business partners. Build alignment across architecture, product, and vendor teams. Provide hands-on technical leadership during delivery. Guide sprint planning, backlog refinement, and solution validation. Support cloud integration and release management. Conduct architecture and code reviews for vendor and internal teams. Provide oversight of pull requests, branching strategies, and release practices. Establish quality gates and definition of done. Support troubleshooting of complex technical issues. Mentor developers and provide technical guidance. Certification in ServiceNow System Administration / Implementation Specialist and / or OpenText ECM platforms. Familiarity with ITIL, BPMN, or process mapping techniques for workflow design. Experience integrating ServiceNow or OpenText with ERP systems, procurement tools, or custom-built applications. Knowledge of Ontario Government I&IT directives. Experience designing solutions that incorporate digital signatures, audit logging, and secure document exchange. Awareness of emerging trends in enterprise SaaS adoption, low-code / no-code platforms, and intelligent automation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business needs into actionable solution architecture. Clear communicator with the ability to engage and influence executive, business, and technical stakeholders. Collaborative and pragmatic, with a delivery-focused mindset and a strong understanding of real-world platform limitations. Able to work across multiple domains and technologies, bringing structure to complexity. Strategic thinker with a strong sense of architecture governance and solution lifecycle management. Self-directed and resourceful—comfortable owning entire solution areas without extensive oversight. Balance of diplomacy and directness—can push back constructively when needed while maintaining relationships. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required. Certifications such as ServiceNow Architect, TOGAF, PMP, ITIL, or OpenText ECM Specialist are considered strong assets. Solution Architecture Blueprints – Target and transitional states for ServiceNow, OpenText, and SaaS-based applications. Integration Designs – Logical and physical models of system-to-system interfaces across SaaS, legacy, and cloud. Workflow & Automation Models – Visual representations and configurations for business processes. Security and Access Models – IAM strategies using Azure AD, RBAC, and platform-native controls. Governance Artifacts – Configuration standards, permission matrices, metadata schemas, and compliance documentation. Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) – Documented rationale for key design and technology choices. Technology Evaluation Reports – Comparative analyses of SaaS platforms, licensing models, and vendor solutions. Implementation Support Artifacts – Sprint inputs, backlog clarifications, platform configurations, and QA checklists. 8+ years of experience in application / solution architecture with a strong focus on enterprise SaaS and digital modernization. Experience architecting workflow automation, document / records management, and case management solutions in SaaS environments. Experience designing hybrid integration architectures using Azure / Entra ID and secure access models. Strong experience designing integrations using APIs, webhooks, middleware, and iPaaS platforms. Experience designing and implementing solutions using OpenText and familiarity with ServiceNow.
Technical Expertise
- 8+ years of experience in application / solution architecture with a strong focus on enterprise SaaS and digital modernization.
- Experience architecting workflow automation, document / records management, and case management solutions in SaaS environments.
- Experience designing hybrid integration architectures using Azure / Entra ID and secure access models.
