The Receiving Associate will work under the direction of the Receiving Team Lead and will be responsible for the daily putting and receiving duties as outlined below. Associates in this role are responsible for the accuracy, efficiency and security of products it enters the distribution center, as well as for reporting any discrepancies, damages, or otherwise problematic occurrences with product in a timely, effective manner.

About the Role: Full-time Receiving Associate
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Working Location: Calgary, AB, Onsite
1845 - 104 Ave NE Unit #131, Calgary, AB - T3J 0R2. (transit accessible)
Hourly Wage: $18.50 CAD per hour with the opportunity to receive monthly bonuses!
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Role Type: Permanent Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive products into the inventory management system
- Accountable for the accuracy of the inventory count as it is entered into the system
- Perform to the ongoing standards of ’s key metric indicators and performance metrics
- Report any and all count discrepancies, including damages, mis-ships, or unsafe/unsanitary conditions to the Receiving Coordinator and Receiving Supervisor immediately
- Ensure that all expiration dates fall within the rules and restrictions guidelines, report any short dated product to the Receiving Coordinator immediately
- Make ongoing recommendations for supplier and department improvement to the Receiving Supervisor
- Perform regular audits and reconciliations on existing inventory
- Assist in other shipping duties, such as picking, packing and shipping, when required
- Ensure that the receiving area is kept clean and safe from all debris, skids are stored safely, receiving docks are always cleared, pump trucks are stored with forks buried, and all health and safety rules are met with full compliance.

Qualifications:
- Monday-Friday availability a MUST
- 2-years of experience in a warehouse production environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and detail oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- Highly organized
- Self-motivated, initiative-driven, and team-minded
