This Opportunity

As a Project Coordinator with B+H Architects, you will be a member of a dynamic and highly collaborative global Architecture & Design team.

Your primary focus will be working closely with our Project Managers and Leaders to prepare comprehensive project reports, including action plans, timeframes, and resources for projects.

You will perform various coordinating task such as schedule management and meeting coordination, along with administrative duties, including maintaining project documentation.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills as you will collaborate with, stakeholders, clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.

While based in Toronto, you will also have the opportunity to support and collaborate with other studios across Canada and with partners across the globe.

As a Project Coordinator you will be responsible for :

  • Project minutes pre-planning, record taking, minutes transcribing, distributing meeting minutes and filing minutes for future reference.
  • Project Reports the assembly, coordination and composition of major project reports and analysis.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
  • Assist internal teams with schedule management.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants and stakeholders.
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
  • Inform leadership of project status on an ongoing basis.
  • Able to work in environments requiring confidentiality and maintaining the integrity and privacy of Project team proponents and stakeholders as well as the materials for design and construction.

Core Competencies & Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, project management or administration.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with an ability to excel in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • A team player attitude and ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Outlook).
  • Bachelor’s degree (or working towards it) in architecture, design, planning or equivalent experience in a related discipline a plus.
  • This role requires flexibility and the ability to work overtime and across different time zones as required.
  • Must be qualified and is willing to obtain security clearance under the Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) Personnel Security Screening Program.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and elements of architecture and design are supportive of the role but not a necessity.
