Job Summary
Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing culinary operations and food preparation in a restaurant or kitchen setting. They manage and develop kitchen staff, ensure food safety and quality, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with attention to taste, presentation, and quality; follow recipes; maintain portion control and consistency.
- Kitchen Management: Lead kitchen operations, schedule shifts, train and mentor staff, monitor performance, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Enforce strict food safety standards, proper storage, handling, and cleanliness; ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Inventory and Cost Control: Manage inventory, minimize waste, optimize food costs, and collaborate with suppliers as needed.
- Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with servers, managers, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- Proven experience as a chef or in a similar role – Corporate or Franchise
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, trends, and kitchen operations
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Creativity to develop innovative recipes and menus
- Attention to detail and high standards of food quality and presentation
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
