Main duties

  • administrer des tests et des examens et observer les patients afin d'évaluer et de diagnostiquer les troubles de la parole, de la voix, de la résonance, du langage,de la fluidité, les troubles cognitivo-linguistiques et de la déglutition;
  • travailler dans un contexte d'interdisciplinarité, avec des neuropsychologues, en vue d'établir des plans d'intervention;
  • offrir des conseils et des services instructifs aux patients et à leurs familles au sujet des troubles de la communication et de la déglutition;
  • faire de la recherche sur les troubles de la parole et autres troubles de communication, et sur l'élaboration et la conception de procédures et d'instruments de diagnostic.

Required qualities

  • être membre de l'Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec.
