SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing your skills as an apprentice by troubleshooting electrical systems/components, installing, modifying and repairing aircraft avionics, as contracted by the customer, with the support of experienced Avionics Technicians;
- Supporting license technicians during various maintenance activity on aircrafts;
- Accomplish maintenance under technicians supervision;
- Interact and work cooperatively with other trade personnel;
- Management and Customer Representatives while performing work in order to meet project directives;
- Attend training courses as directed;
- Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Working towards becoming a “E” licensed Avionics Technician;
- Previous apprentice related experience is an asset;
- Background in working on Business Aircraft types, an asset;
- Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate strong organizational skills;
- Must be attentive to detail;
- Positive attitude;
- Team oriented;
- Good communication skills.
EDUCATION:
- In the process of finalizing a recognized Avionics Program, or equivalent, is a minimum requirement.
