Apprentice Technician

Overview

The Apprentice Truck and Trailer or Trailer Technician is responsible for the company’s performance in terms of efficient, effective, and timely repairs and maintenance on the Bison Transport tractor fleet. The Tractor Apprentice is expected to be a team player in the Maintenance Department. They must be able to follow direction from the licensed technician to diagnose and repair recurring problems and effectively communicate these to other members of the Maintenance Team. Good communication skills and a professional attitude are basic requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow direction from a licensed technician to diagnose and repair recurring problems.
• Communicate findings to other members of the Maintenance Team.
• Contribute to efficient, effective, and timely repairs and maintenance on the tractor fleet.
• Demonstrate good communication skills and a professional attitude.

Shift Schedules

This position is permanent full-time and subject to a Continental shift from 6am-6pm.
