We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled manager to join our Compensation team in Toronto. This role will work under the direction of a senior manager who oversees the design of, and has overall accountability for, compensation programs.
The manager will assist in implementing and managing these programs, ensuring they meet organizational goals and standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing annual and other cyclical compensation processes in a mid- to large-sized organization with multiple locations or business units across Canada.
Experience in the professional services industry and benefits administration experience are preferred.
As a Manager, Compensation your responsibilities will include :
- Assist in the design and implementation of compensation programs to attract and retain top talent in collaboration with the senior manager.
- Manage annual and cyclical compensation processes, including preparing and deploying compensation tools.
- Conduct market research, manage compensation survey participation, and analyze data to keep our compensation packages competitive.
- Provide support on compensation-related issues to HR and business leaders.
- Help develop and maintain compensation policies and procedures in alignment with the Firm's objectives.
- Support regular and project-based compensation activities, such as salary benchmarking, job evaluations, and incentive program assessments.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Contribute to the optimization and enhancement of compensation-related systems and tools.
Additional Responsibilities - Benefits :
- Assist with benefits administration and providing backup support during peak times or absences.
- Aid in evaluating, updating, or designing benefits packages to attract and retain talent.

Think you've got what it takes to be a Manager, Compensation? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we're also hoping you can tick :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CCP and / or CEBS designations are an asset.
- At least 8 years of experience in compensation administration and management.
- Experience in benefits administration is preferred, particularly with self-administered plans and annual enrollment processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and managing large datasets. Power BI knowledge is an asset.
- Deep knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday experience is desirable) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior management and comfortable with making presentations to target stakeholders.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Solid knowledge of Canadian employment legislation.
- In-office presence is required for at least 3 days a week to support our culture, build relationships, and foster growth opportunities.
