What You'll Be Doing
- Champion safety and quality in every aspect of site operations.
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Oversee daily reporting, labour productivity, equipment utilization, job costing, and payroll submissions.
- Mentor, coach, and develop foremen and field personnel, building a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and labour resources to optimize project execution.
- Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to proactively manage risks and identify opportunities.
- Support project planning, estimating, and constructability reviews.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
What You Bring
- Engineering degree, technical diploma, or trade certification.
- Minimum 8 -10 years of experience as a Superintendent in industrial construction.
- Proven ability to lead large crews and manage multiple project priorities simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, labour planning, contract administration, and industrial safety standards.
- Experience in sectors such as Ports & Terminals, Mining, Oil & Gas, Bulk Material Handling, Power Generation, and Pulp & Paper.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $140 - $170k per annum
The actual salary offered to the successful candidate will be determined based on job‑related factors, including relevant experience, years of experience, qualifications, internal equity, and Carlson Construction Group’s compensation policy.
