Description
Purpose:
Promote and sell the Rocky Mountaineer and Canyon Spirit experiences to travel trade partners and direct guests. Guide clients through the sales cycle with expertise and enthusiasm, ensuring seamless and memorable vacation planning across phone and email channels. Manage bookings with accuracy, process payments and itinerary changes, identify upselling opportunities, and consistently deliver high-quality interactions that drive revenue growth and enhance guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle high volume of inbound interactions related to new and/or existing bookings.
- Apply the 5-step sales process to qualify and close bookings.
- Troubleshoot guest concerns and proactively resolve issues.
- Ensure booking accuracy and minimize need for follow-up calls.
- Support overflow sales calls and contribute to new and/or existing bookings.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and follow-up on proposals.
- Build relationships and collaborate with trade partners and Business Development Managers.
- Meet or exceed individual and team performance targets, including sales, service quality and guest satisfaction metrics
Ideal Candidate:
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in written communication and multitasking.
- Strong influencing skills.
- Proficient in reservation systems and pricing models.
- Experienced in service recovery and guest relations, and chat-based sales
- Tech-savvy and comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; travel insurance certification within 6 months.
- Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, sales environment, or call center environments.
- Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making skills.
- Additional languages (Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, French) are an asset.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced sales center with hybrid work options (in office 3 days a week).
- Rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular training and development opportunities.
Compensation:
The base salary offered for this role is $50,000.00 per annum and can vary based on job-related expertise, qualifications, experience and internal equity. Eligible for Armstrong Colelctive's dicretionary bonus program.
