Job Description :
On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for a Project Analyst to apply their experiences as a front-line staff member and liaise with colleagues across the region to ensure the design of the new CIS is practical and based on the needs of the region.
Responsibilities :
- Architecture & Infrastructure Project Analyst :
- The Project Analyst will be responsible for supporting much of the day-to-day work involved with pushing forward areas of the advanced program across several domains and supporting the workstream PMs / leaders.
- Assesses business needs from a technical readiness perspective and implements CIS go-live activities to meet the Advance Program strategic goals.
- Serves as a liaison between end users, Site Leads, and technical teams.
- Develops and / or maintains technical and user documentation requirements in a highly complex technical environment.
- Evaluate and support recommendations for technical program activities.
- Ensures technical standards are utilized throughout the implementation.
- Must have proven analytical and technical skills to be able to devise new and adapt existing methods, techniques, and procedures to meet specific requirements.
- Elicit and understand the related workflows, how they affect downstream systems, and how the regional ecosystem might need to be enhanced to support the workflows.
- Communicates, prioritizes, tracks, and resolves technical issues in a timely fashion.
- Works with internal and external clients to understand technical business.
- Develops material for and host demos with different stakeholder groups, as required.
- Supports other product launch activities such as developing and documenting operational processes.
- Competent to work all phases of application systems analysis.
- System implementation experience required; CIS implementation and MEDITECH go-live experience preferred.
- Go-live conversion and cut-over experience preferred.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Project Management Responsibilities :
- Support project management associated with this specific work-package.
- Support identification Identify, execute, and manage risks and issues including pragmatic mitigation plans associated with this work package.
- Support regular status reporting to Advance Program leadership, as required.
- Ensure appropriate documentation is organized and can be easily audited.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure process optimization for the Advance Program.
Qualifications :
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare-related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Healthcare with a focus on IT systems and operational support.
- Strong knowledge of general workflows in a hospital environment an asset.
- Demonstrated internal / external stakeholder provider and clinician engagement experience.
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills essential.
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks and effectively prioritize work.
- Proponent shall possess strong problem-solving, analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills and an ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication, documentation, and facilitation skills.
- Experience using tools like JIRA, Smartsheets and Office365.
