THE ROLE
As the Senior Manager/Manager, Wash, you will partner with cross-functional teams to:
- Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
- Establish a cross-functional wash approval process that outlines roles and accountability by department, to ensure we that we can seamlessly deliver on Aritzia’s Everyday Luxury promise.
- Develop world-class washes for Aritzia’s ready-to-wear assortment (excluding denim and heavy woven product) that meet the creative vision and are complaint with all regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure our Manufacturing Suppliers and in-region Product Integrity wash lead have the approved standards and formulas to meet Aritzia’s technical wash requirements and aesthetic outcomes.
- Manage the physical and digital wash assets associated with the end-to-end wash lifecycle, from sample development, testing, and through to wash application during bulk production.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Senior Manager/Manager, Wash, has:
- Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience in:Education in Textile or Chemical EngineeringKnowledge of the wash process and techniques, chemicals, dyeing, finishing, and advanced treatmentsKnowledge of global wash testing methods, performance standards, and chemical safety
- A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
- The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
- A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value
THE COMPENSATION
At Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy.
The range for roles at this level is $100,000 - $300,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
