The Opportunity
Buffalo Bill’s is looking for Door Hosts who are passionate about venue safety, customer service, and conflict de-escalation. You’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and unforgettable nightlife experience.
Our ideal team members are confident, calm under pressure, and skilled in handling situations professionally—whether it’s managing a busy line, verifying ID, or diffusing a tense interaction. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a vibrant nightlife environment while keeping safety and hospitality front and center.

What You Bring to the Table
- Positive, professional, and approachable demeanor
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to stay calm and confident under pressure
- Excellent communication—both with guests and your team
- Ability to assess situations quickly and make sound, safe decisions
- Skilled at conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
- Comfortable enforcing venue policies respectfully and consistently
- Physically able to stand for long periods and handle the demands of a busy nightlife environment
- 19+ years old with Serving It Right certification
- Security or hospitality experience is an asset (BST training a bonus)
Your Nights Will Look Like
- Greeting guests with a professional, friendly welcome while monitoring entry and exit points
- Checking ID and verifying legal drinking age to ensure compliance with liquor laws
- Managing guest capacity for safety and comfort
- Monitoring guest behavior and crowd dynamics inside the venue
- Identifying and addressing potential security concerns before they escalate
- De-escalating conflicts and resolving issues with professionalism and tact
- Escorting disruptive guests off premises in a safe and respectful manner
- Supporting the management team in maintaining a secure, enjoyable environment for all guests
