MicroHabitat is seeking individuals to fill the position of Urban Farmer with ambition, leadership, and a passion for agriculture.

Introduction:

At MicroHabitat, we are pioneering urban agriculture to improve the urban environment, the lifestyles of city dwellers, and encourage a better understanding of environmental issues. We install rooftop gardens on businesses, institutions, and schools to reconnect people with nature and their food sources.

What's in store for you?

  • A rewarding job where you can enjoy the summer and cultivate in unique locations.
  • A competitive salary.
  • A team-focused work environment that encourages initiative and leadership.
  • Happy hours and various social events throughout the year.
  • Fun team-building activities with your colleagues — because MicroHabitat is first and foremost a big family!

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

At MicroHabitat, we believe that each team member's unique personality, skills, background, and origin are key elements in achieving our goal: connecting people with the nature around them through urban agriculture. We have the privilege of serving unique cities and aim to develop a team that reflects the diversity of these living and working spaces. Therefore, we encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply and are committed to creating a space where everyone feels included, recognizing that this is an ongoing process.

Job Description:

  • Write reports and document activities for each production space.
  • Perform tasks related to purchasing and maintaining tools and infrastructure.
  • Conduct quality control and generate reports for managing the roofs of urban farms.
  • Follow and maintain safety protocols related to MicroHabitat operations.
  • Participate in the creation of standardization documents and training guides for company operations.
  • Work directly with different company branches (sales and marketing) and with other cities where MicroHabitat operates.

Requirements:
