Job description

THE ROLE

As the Sous Chef, Commissary, you will:

  • Support with leading a high-performing Food & Beverage team

  • Support with curating a highly engaging, fun, and shareable product assortment

  • Prepare an exceptional product offering

  • Uphold the standards of operational excellence in the kitchen

  • Support with ensuring we have the best-in-class equipment for preparation and service

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Sous Chef, Commissary, has:

  • Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in:

    Food Safety Certification an asset

    Red Seal Certification, OHFA, an asset

  • Experience working hot line (pan/fry), garde manger (salads and cold prep), and/or pizza stations (sushi is a plus)

  • A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles

  • The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners

  • A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

  • Open availability to work full time between the hours of 7am - 9pm, weekends/holidays included (scheduled hours are 45 hours per week)

THE COMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
